However, we are flexible and a reduction in tariffs can be negotiated if justified in terms of work volume and provided that any deal will conform to ethical standards. We also do Pro Bono work in the community. This practice realises, that the best business practices at this point of transformation in the South African reality, is best served by a conscious, interactive, collective and collaborative effort to identify, define and implement policies and strategies that seek to 4 unleash the creative and productive forces of all our people. We equally realise that the environment and framework created by government requires all stakeholders to contribute to the national program.  Our composition reflects this understanding and is unmistakably positioned to achieve the empowerment and integration of previously disadvantaged persons and groups unto the mainstream economy. We resolved to implement progressive and forward thinking policies and strategies targeted in the following areas of opportunity and benefit: • Ownership, control and Management to retain and expand significant, meaningful ownership, control and operational involvement by previously disadvantaged persons. • Affirmative human resources development strategies to implement strategies that seeks to achieve the placement and development of credible and skilled previously disadvantaged persons into positions of employment and leadership in the practice, to translate empowerment into action. • Affirmative procurement policy to implement guidelines that will ensure the maximum sourcing of goods and services of affirmative Business Enterprises and small and medium enterprises. We have made it part and parcel of our strategic planning to admit female attorneys or to seek joint venture partnerships. This process will gain momentum in 2016.  We remain committed to our endeavour to expand the ownership of control and operational involvement of our practice by credible and skilled female attorneys and candidate attorneys. To this end we have already appointed one female attorney and more to follow. We further encourage and subscribe especially our female support staff to enhance their expertise and skills through training courses, etc. We pride ourselves in having state of the art office technology and are at the leading edge of high end computer software and hardware available to law firms that maximize the productivity and efficiency of our staff and thereby simultaneously having a positive impact on our service delivery to our clients.
